Lisa S. Zucker, MD LLC

Dr. Lisa Zucker is a board-certified psychiatrist
who has been treating patients
in the Washington DC area since 2001.

 Dr. Zucker is a general adult psychiatrist with extensive clinical experience in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidenced-based and individualized care. 

Dr. Zucker evaluates and treats a range of adult psychiatric conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, stress and the emotional impact of medical illnesses. She also works closely with her patients to address issues such as relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, life transitions, and grief. Dr. Zucker prescribes medication, engages with patients in talk therapy, and works closely with other psychotherapists. Engaging with her patients in a therapeutic partnership, she tailors her treatments as appropriate to their unique goals and needs. 

Dr. Zucker’s particular interests include the mind-body connection and the impacts of stress, the environment, and lifestyle on an individual’s mental health and wellness.
